You are about to enter the Vomitus Maximus Museum
Please be forewarned that the paintings and drawings you are about to see contain depictions of violence and some sexual content.
Try to be "mature" when viewing these pictures.
These pictures are my impressions and reactions to this world. I DO NOT condone violence. I DO NOT condone hate or crime. I DO NOT condone anything. There is NO message here. If you hear one it is because you are seeing yourself in a mirror. Creating these images is my way of purging my psyche . This is my way of "Vomiting" my mental debris. This is why I have given the museum the name I have.
There is ugliness here and there is beauty. I hope
you see both. ... RS

THE VOMITUS MAXIMUS MUSEUM
"A finished canvas is to be cast off like a dry cocoon, a worn out sheath of skin, wriggled out of and shed, torn off the back of a snake whose coiled shadow is memory. The body re-emerges intact, alive again and cognizant, transformed into a new creature. The canvas, that skin of expressed memory in paint, remains forever."
Richard Diran, 1995
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
A. Einstein
The appreciation of any given artist and/or individual piece of his or her work is defined by personal taste and is usually described in black and white terms rather than shades of gray: one either likes or dislikes it. Some of the material here will challenge your sensibilities, other material you may find difficult to even look at. But if a given work of art contains a message, then the images found here will talk to you! In fact, if you spend some time exploring here we guarantee that your opinion will polarize to a much further degree than simply "liking" or "disliking" what we present: you will either love or hate what you see.
